Let us reintroduce ourselves.
If you've been around since the begining, we apologise for the repeated content but genuinely thankyou for the support.
If you're new, let me take a minute to tell you why we're here.
I created Mallin & Son in 2019 when I bought an old Barbour Gamefair that needed reproofing. From there, I identified a gap and worked hard to fill it. COVID hit at the time that green and sustainable fashion really started showing in mainstream circles and the stars aligned for us as a rewaxing business.
We scaled the business online and partnered with all of the brands that matter to look after their jackets. We continue to do that to this day with customers all over the globe.
A couple of years in, I reopened my love for design and released a couple of pieces that sold out. Thai promoted further releases and a journey to understand the industry through both our reproofing work and my love for menswear.
It's a journey that continues to this day but with more experience and a good few fashion scout badges earned through some immense hard work.
Now, I design and release pieces to compliment vintage jackets. I make things that I want to wear and things I hop people will like. I also do things to our rhythm, trying not to meet seasonal deadlines as such but for the love of being creative.
Brands say X year is going to be the biggest yet and I'm going to do the same. Because it really is.
Thanks for being a part of our story.
Ryan
