Introducing Atelier by Mallin & Son where 6 years of work comes to fruition in the form of a vintage boutique and personal styling. My mission is to help men dress better through helping them understand what suits their body and lifestyle best, whilst educating on the benefits of buying vintage. 

Often you can write a plan or a strategy but the universe has a way of moving you in a certain direction.

I hold a love for vintage fashion and make a sport out of sourcing high quality 'things' for myself and for friends. I want to break the 'menswear guy' zeitgeist around both vintage and high(er) end style through making it accessible to everyone. Because it is. 

There are a number of key elements to look for when finding your style from fabric to fit to functionality and much in-between. So if you feel bored by wearing the same fit of jeans and polo shirt or want to freshen up your style, we can help. Building a wardrobe that works for you can really help to build your confidence too.  

We are fans of building a capsule wardrobe which means owning fewer but better quality garments and most importantly, garments that get worn. Through buying items that work across a number of looks, we will build a wardrobe that's versatile and works for you. 

Style Edit £150 - 60 mins (in person or via video call)

We will delve into your own personal style through exploring your tastes, your needs, your lifestyle and your goals. We will discuss your current wardrobe, your likes and dislikes and offer advice on how to interpret timeless style into your own personal look. We will build an ongoing relationship where I will help you source the pieces to elevate your wardrobe. 

Following the consultation you will receive a mood-board detailing brands and looks to inspire. 

Vintage Boutique (coming soon)

If you've ever visited the Mallin & Son workshop here at Springfield Mill, you'll know it contains lots of intrigue from vintage motorcycle helmets to vintage jackets and military wear. We plan to take this up a notch and hold stock from my online finds. You can expect knitted polos, loafers, US workboots, more military wear from brands like Ralph Lauren, Sunspel, Barbour, Burberry and many more. We will be building a vintage archive that opens as boutique once a week. 

Consultancy (poa)

Over the last 6 years we've built up a nice portfolio of work that has seen us work in everything from TV and film to testing fabric for airtight door covers. Our work covers research through to design with a keen focus on user centred design and sustainable practices.
